Sleeping Beauty

Just had to snap a pic of Ella in our bed one morning sleeping.





It has become common for the kids to wake up early and join me in bed for a little bit. Usually Ella is first and Miles comes in later. Not the most flattering of pics, but one of the sweetest times of the day.

Curly Girl

I put Ella's hair up in curlers to cheer her up because she'd just fallen on the floor and hurt her chin pretty bad (see Hello Kitty bandaid under chin). She looked so cute in the curlers. I forgot to take pics the next morning. Her hair was quite curly. When she looked in the mirror she said "Ha, I look like George Washington".

These days Ella is in love with her schoolmate Arman. Used to be Kyle, but Arman seems to return Ella's feelings. She keeps talking about marrying him and getting him a ring. Luckily she says she is going to wait until she is 33.

On the Pond

The weather finally turned nice enough to enjoy being outside. We took a couple of spins out on the paddle boat.
